About The Kibitz Room
The Kibitz Room is Center City Philadelphia’s only Jewish-style deli. Best known for its oversized sandwiches, smoked fishes, massive desserts, and traditional deli side dishes such as knishes, kugels, and potato pancakes, The Kibitz Room is reminiscent of the country’s original delis. The décor is authentic—hardwood floors, wood tables and chairs, a tin ceiling, mirrors and stainless steel deli cases. Expect to find smoked white fish, nova, corned beef, brisket, kasha varnishkes, black and white cookies, and a case of Dr. Brown’s soda. The Kibitz Room is owned and operated by Neil Parish, who also owns the award winning Kibitz Room in Cherry Hill, NJ. In addition to owning the running The Kibitz Room, Parish is in fact a self-proclaimed “Loxologist.” |
